Nephews Wedding card

I made this card for my nephews wedding.  It is larger than I'm use to - 81/2 x 5 1/2.  First, I embossed the front of the card with swiss dots.  I had to put it through the cuttlebug a couple times.  I just lined it up with the dots and put a little bit of tape to keep it in place.  I used spellbinders to cut the center out.  Then I printed the couples  names in silver on my printer.  I covered it with vellum, then taped it so it would show through.  I put another piece of while paper covering the entire inside-making it a very thic card.

I then made a number of flowers with the spellbinder bitty blossoms and cut leaves out also.  I put glitter glue on the tips of the flowers using a paint brush for a very light coating.  I then added some bling.  Including some pearls in te center of the flowers!

I love how this card turned out. I just wish I were a better photographer to show how pretty this turned out!

Tent Card

This is a fun summer card.  Every year we go camping and always have a great time.  For this card I used yellow for the back ground of the tent.  The layered on the kids using black, then put vellum on the top.  I think this makes it look just like the silouette inside a tent when you have the flashlight on.  I cut these from Nate's ABCs, the fire from Crate a Critter and the moon and stars from Sugar and Spice.  I also cut more grass from Everyday Paper Dolls.

Patriotic Eeyore card

First, I have to say, I love Eeyore.  I love all the Pooh characters, but Eeyore I think is my favorite.  For this card I used Pooh and Friends for Eeyore.  I cut the flag (in his mouth) and sparklers (in his bow on his tail) from the Stand and Salute cart. The stamp is from Pink by Design.  I popped Eeyore up onto an Action Wobble, so he can really get into the spirit.  The paper is from Martha Stewart Crafts.  I used Elegant Edges to cut the background shape.  I think it turned out so cute.

Sunset card

This is my first time entering this challenge.  It's at Pause, Dream, Enjoy Challeges.  This week was to make a sunset scene or to use the colors of a sunset in a project.

I used my Country Life cartridge for the first time for the hills and sunset.  I added sheep also from the same cartridge.  I put a little country fence in front and popped it up on pop dots.  The fence was from Pooh and Friends.  I inked up a piece of white paper with different sunset colors. I think it will cheer someone up, if they are under the weather, so I made it into a Get Well card!

Chalk it up Birthday card

My sister is turning the big 60 this year and Peachy Keen was having a chalk challenge.  You have to use chalk in your card.  So I made a little chalk board, then used chalk to mark the years.  The bear is from Create a Critter and the face is of course Peachy Keen.  So cute.  I love the PK faces.  I typed up the sentiment and added a couple of dark rhinestones and some swiss dot ribbon.
