Cute Scarecrow

For this card, I used Simply Charmed, cut at 3" and popped up onto an Action Wobble.  I didn't cut the face piece, because I used Peachy Keen Corny Stamps.  The papers are from DCWV the Chateau Lavender stack.  The sentiment is from Pink by Design-Simply Everything.  I inked the edges of the papers with Tim Holtz Tea Dye Distress ink.

Spooky Greetings

This is my first post in like 2 weeks.  We were camping for a week and I was playing catch up around the house for the week before.  Everything should be pretty much back to normal now.  This little card

is made from the Mini Monsters cricut cart, cut at 3" and popped up onto an Action Wobble.  The paper is from DCWV Haunting stack.  I added some bakers twine and a little spider button.  The greeting is from Pink by Design.

I love how cute this card turned out.  I used A Childs Year nd Elegant Edges cartridges.  The paper is from DCWV Dots, Stripes and Plaids.  I added some black ribbon, button and bakers twine.

The inside of the card is stamped with the sentiment from My Craft Spot-Inside and Out #2, then I embossed it with silver.

Relaxing Birthday card

This is a card I made for the Peachy Keen color challenge.  The project needs to use these colors:

  • Design must be new
  • Design must be creating using colors from the palette above

The chair is popped up and from Life's a Beach, the watering can and flower garden are from Walk in my Garden and the sun is from Everyday Paper Dolls.  I stamped the sun with Peachy Keen Cornies and the flower garden is from Peachy Keen Pocket Posies.  I added some bakers twine and some glossy accents.  And to top it all off the sun is on an Action Wobble!

I tried to show some of the dimension in this picture.

    Frame for retiring teacer

I made a frame for my daughters band teacher.  He is retiring this year after 35 years at this same school.  He is a great band teacher and has taught all the kids so much!  Through the years he has gotten various gramt monies and donations, so the kids don't have to buy their own instrument.  He has been a very dedicated teacher and I know he will truly enjoy his retirement.

I used a number of Cricut carts to make the frame.
I used Twinkle Toes and repeated, reversed and melded to make one continuous stream of music.  I used Rock Princess for the guitar (I added embroidery thread for the strings) and the head phones.  I used Everyday Paper Dolls for the drums an horn.  The words Mac Band are from Nates ABC's.  The frame is a clearance item that I painted red.  The school colors are red and white.  I think he'll like it.

    Best Witches

I needed to start making some Halloween cards.  I got Happy Hauntings last year after Halloween was over and it has so many great cuts.  I cut this fabulous boot!  I love how it turned out. The paper is DCWV Black Currant.  I added a doily behind the cut but on top of the paper.  Then I took some black tulle and covered the papers with it.  I added some more black tulle behind th boot and glued it onto the card.

I liked this so much, that I made a second one with a little different of papers:

This one I used purple and black tulle for the boot and purple to cover the paper.

    Lady Bug card

I love this little ladybug!  She is cut from Create a Critter.  I added a little bow with stickles and Glossy Accents for her head.  The ribbon is stash and I added a litle ladybug button (Fabulous Finds) on the bow.  I also popped her up onto an Action Wobble!   I just love how cute she turned out!

    Back to School

I made this card using the Doodlecharms cart for the bus and the sun.  The road is cut from Everyday Paper Dolls.  I cut the road twice, once in black and once in white, so that the line would be white.  I put the bus on an Action Wobble, cause school buses are always so bumpy!.  The flowers and the suns face are. from Peachy Keen stamps

    Got S'more?

For this card I used Campin Critter for the little Smore toasting porcupine.  I added googly eyes, cause the eyes for the cuts in this cart are kind of weird.  I put a branch from Winter Frolic and the campfire from Create a Critter.  I also added some grass from Create a Critter.  I stamped the fire with a Peachy Keen stamp.  The sentiment is computer generated.
